Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic central highlands towards Aberdare National Park. Arrive in time for lunch before transferring to your tree lodge located deep inside the forest. Enjoy wildlife viewing from the lodge deck where elephants, buffaloes and bushbucks frequently visit the nearby waterholes. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2
Aberdare to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive searching for the Samburu Special Five, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and gerenuk. Dinner and overnight stay at the safari lodge.
Day 3
Full Day Samburu National Reserve
Spend the full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Search for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and the unique wildlife of northern Kenya. Enjoy spectacular landscapes and excellent photography opportunities. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4
Samburu to Mount Kenya Region
After breakfast, drive south towards the Mount Kenya region. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kenya’s peaks while relaxing at a scenic lodge surrounded by forests and gardens. Optional nature walks and cultural experiences can be arranged in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
Mount Kenya to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast with scenic mountain views before departing for Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your memorable Kenya safari adventure through Aberdare, Samburu and Mount Kenya.
